Preparation for WorldSkills Lyon 2024 - Learning in competition in South Africa.

To support the African countries for their potential participation in WorldSkills Africa activities and WorldSkills Members in Africa to join WorldSkills Lyon 2024, Festo is organising an online conference to discuss the three skills sponsored by Festo which are: Mechatronics, Industry 4.0, and Water Technology. This conference will share insights about industrial partnerships and the social and economic impact of these skills.

The target audience is Official Delegates, Technical Delegates, and Experts from WorldSkills Members in Africa as well as government and education representatives from potential Member countries.

The training camp forms the basis for preparing the participants for WorldSkills Competition by familiarising them with new technologies and industrial practices in their respective skills. It also aims to enable Experts to run the national competitions in their respective countries.

The training camp will take place at Festo South Africa which is situated 5km from OR Tambo International Airport.
