PLC Basic Training for Festo Didactic

An introduction, commissioning and training was held from July 3rd to 5th, 2018 to starting the new mechatronic program at GUtech based on the learning system for mechatronics from Festo Didactic.

• Subjects of the training have been:
• Introduction to MPS stations and modules, functions and setup
• Software installation Siemens Step7 V14, Ciros, Mechatronic Assistant, FluidSim Pneumatic und Electronic
• Commissioning MPS Stations and first run with PLC EduTrainer S71512C
• Test of material flow and adjusting mechatronic components
• Introduction to learning scenarios with the Modular Production System:
  - manual control with Simbox digital or analog
  - manual control with EzVeep and Easyport
  - control with FluidSim and Easyport
  - simulation with EzVeep, Easyport and PLC EduTrainer S71512C
  - simulation with Ciros and Step7 PLCSIM Advanced
  - basic PLC programming with MPS stations
