ADIRO's tasks included the complete construction of the control cabinet according to the customer's specifications, including integration into the platform. This included the placement of the cut-outs, the assembly of the mounting plates and the complete wiring of the internal components and the components mounted on the exhibition platform. On the other hand, ADIRO was responsible for programming the entire process, including controlling the movement of two axes, the automated gripper change and the control of the gripper functions.

The trade fair platform presents the RCG, a magnetic gripper with high holding force that was specially developed for handling 46 mm round cells. The gripper enables the battery cells to be picked up and placed precisely. The distance between them can be adjusted by using gripper units. This allows the number of cells within a battery pack to be increased. In addition, linear axis systems ensure high flexibility and precision, allowing applications with short cycle times to be realized. The gripper meets the high safety standards required for handling battery cells.
