On 21.11.2019 we had Prof. Andreas Fath and his team visiting Adiro. Mr. Fath and his team are water experts and are particularly concerned with microplastics and how risk can become an opportunity. Mr. Fath swam through the Rhine from its source to the North Sea to draw attention to the pollution of the water with microplastics or other undesirable trace substances. He and his team took water samples along the Rhine and evaluated them scientifically. 

At the end of the visit it was clear that both sides could benefit from the contact. Prof. Fath and his team are working on the recycling of plastic waste for the purification of water. Adiro is involved and provides the apparatus technology for demonstrating the water purification process.
