Characteristics of the pump test bench:

• The test rig is intended to investigate in a reproducible manner whether and how the pump selection/arrangement can affect water delivery parameters can be tested.
• In a closed water circuit, two centrifugal pumps or two diaphragm pumps can be flexibly arranged in single, parallel or series operation on a flexibly arranged on a profile plate.
• In addition to delivery pressures and flow rates, characteristic curves of the pump performance are recorded via the Fluidlab-PA closed-loop software.
• Three shut-off ball valves are provided for isolation of the pump(s) and for adjustment of the pressure downstream of the pump(s) are included.
• The performance of the individual experiments can be learned and passed on during Learned and passed on as part of classroom instruction.
• In addition to the installation and modification instructions for the pumps and piping the installation of safety precautions ( e.g. overpressure valves) must be observed
