The special construction of the station MPS PA Reactor and MPS PA Mixing in cooperation with Festo and Siemens is now an integral part of the automation laboratory of the Rheinische Fachhochschule in Cologne.

The use of the plant allows interested students and trainees to deal with industrial production plants outside of school. In this way they gain insights into the technology that is also used in the economy. Production management, automation technology, control engineering, process engineering, introduction to the programming languages GRAFCET, S7 and PCS7; all this and much more is open to the students and trainees.
